There are times when a page gets moved, deleted or a url mistyped and you get the ever-so-famous 404 page declaring that the page you are looking for has been moved or no longer exists. While it is never good to get one, it should not be neglected in the design process. A well designed 404 can be visually appealing and can also help guide the visitor to the page they might have been looking for in the first place.
